This American Medical Association page offers facts supporting opposition to underage drinking. Example: "Approximately 11 million American youth under the age of 21 drink alcohol. Nearly half of them drink to excess, consuming five or more drinks in a row, one or more times in a two week period. " Other informational sections of the page include discussions of The Minimum Drinking Age and Alcohol and Driving: Key Facts.

The Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT) describes itself as an organization that "works to promote democratic values and constitutional liberties in the digital age" and "seeking to make an impact on Internet policy". This site comments on their stance regarding COPPA, and their discussion of their position on COPPA's final Rule.
Although directed at children 13 and younger to explain COPPA, this web page coming from the U. S. Department of Energy's Energy Information Administration is interesting to others as well. It describes in simple language the electronic tracking that occurs when an online user accesses this government web site.
This section, "Minors' Reproductive Health Rights in California", is presented by Planned Parenthood Golden Gate and offers a general and brief discussion of California law and parental notification and minors' rights in this area.  A related Planned Parenthood Federation of America site, Laws Requiring Parental Consent or Notification for Minors' Abortions, offers a summary of three categories under which such laws fall.

Local, regional and national news coverage from selected newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Denver Post, USA Today, Christian Science Monitor.
Newspaper Source Plus
Provides selected full text for many U.S. and international newspapers. The database also contains full text television & radio news transcripts, and selected full text for more than 800 U.S. regional newspapers.
Philosophy and Religion Collection
Covers such topics as epistemology, political philosophy, philosophy of language, moral philosophy and the history of philosophy, world religions, biblical studies, religious history. Includes more than 300 full text journals.
Health Source
Health Source: Consumer Edition offers information on many health topics including the medical sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine and general health. Has full text for nearly 300 journals.
